I am getting ready to run for the hills and want to use Super Duper to make a bootable back up on the same external 1 TB SATA hard drive I have my Time Machine back ups on. I know the FAQ said this is not a problem, but I thought Super Duper reformats the drive before making the backup.

What am I missing here? Sorry to be dense but I don't have a lot of time to try to work through this on my own.
