I use SuperDuper! to create a daily backup of my primary drive on my Mac Mini. Both drives are external.

This afternoon I inadvertently disconnected my primary drive while it was busy, thinking that I was disconnecting my printer. The drive is now useless.

Fortunately, I simply switched my boot disk to be the backup, and I'm now back in business. I've ordered a new drive to replace the primary. (I also have a second backup that I rotate out periodically.)

I just wanted to say this was the easiest disaster recovery I've ever experienced.
