From what I remember, every now and then it would complain that it could not find the drive to mount.
I have my power options set to wake my computer at 4:27am, with a scheduled backup to occur daily at 4:30am. I just verified those settings but when I look at the SD scheduled backup log it tells me the last time it ran was 10/25 (maybe the day I installed 10.5?) I guess that's why I haven't seen it complain about not being able to mount the drive lately
