SDCopy process running, SD app is not

In Activity Monitor, the SDCopy process is running and hogging about 110% CPU, but the SD app itself is not running.

This obviously doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things, but I was cloning off a large disk (3TB), and I came across the attached, which shows SD reporting more files evaluated (160,949)...

sort order in Load Settings

This is an extremely small matter....

Whenever I open SD and then go to Load Settings, the sort order of the items is always by modification date rather than by file name (I'd prefer the latter). ...

SD compressed images vs Disk Utility "convert" option

When SD is asked to create a read-only image, it is a two-step process. SD first makes a sparseimage, and then creates a second file with dmg extension which is the final, desired file.

There are...

This is not strictly speaking a SuperDuper! issue, as I know (I'm pretty sure) that no matter what volume or user SD! is run from, it will preserve all permissions, ownership, etc. If it's an easy...

Usually when I do a smart update, SD will take substantially less time than an erase and copy...often a difference of hours for, say, a 500GB data volume.

I have a 1.5TB Time Machine volumen that...
