The same drives that I'm unable to boot a MacBook Air or 2008 MacBook from work just fine for booting Macs that have FireWire. There just must be a problem with the controller chips in some of the WD...

User level system prefs not cloning properly?

Any idea why user level prefs related to certain System settings don't clone over properly in Leopard? For instance, if a machine has Bluetooth discoverability turned off or automatic software...
