SD backup to new iMac
About to lash out on a new iMac, roil on WWDC hopefully. Used SD to backup Lion on a Mac Pro and removed the backup drive to a USB2 external dock. iMac will arrive, one imagines, loaded with Lion....

Cloning SSD to a new SSD
When purchased Mercury Extreme from OWC, techs were most insistent the drive not be cloned, rather clean install of Snow Leopard and use of Migration Assistant to copy things over.
