Yes, I use Growl, but I would like to ditch it in favor of Notifications Center. I have found the SuperDuper Growl interface a bit unreliable, I don't always get notified.

It seems to me that for unattended backups some form of easy access to the log history is pretty fundamental. I want to know that it's reliable and has been working every day. An alternative is to...

But you miss my point. I said that the backup worked fine automatically after the machine was woken up without any intervention from me, but I'm not seeing that in practice.

Well that worries me, why have I only got one log file then.
There is something very unintuitive about all this. I have been using SD for 3 years and in all that time I have never mastered scheduled...

Does the latest version of SD still not allow the backing up of a FileVaulted Home folder without logging out. If so, are there any plans to change this ?

I do SuperDuper backups with various folders excluded. Short of actually doing a backup is there any way to get SuperDuper to tell me how much space it is going to need.
