yes but the back up was done before the server...

yes but the back up was done before the server started crashing. I have tried sending it to another disk but no dice.

dnanian - I have done both as I figured would be easier to move the disk image. Im a bit nervous to update the actual copy in case it fails then wont have any back up.

choking backing up

Hi. The backup drive is is formatted GUID but was working fine before the server crashes. It is on a different drive because it is not much of a backup if the server drive fails. cheers
