That's reasonable. I will go back to using the regular HD. I've been maintaining three clones, created in sequence, one-a-day via Applescript. SuperDuper has saved my life more than twice over...

Thanks for your super quick response. I copied the Quicken app to sandbox/Applications. Same result. Tried restarting - same result.

Additional clue? I used the menu function Online/Get...

This problem occurs only with a Sandbox startup (Shared Users and or Shared Users & Apps). Suspecting a Sandbox fault, I erased it & re-cloned. Same results.

Engaging the Quicken menu bar item...
