Same problem, but my SD is registered

I have MacBook Pro 1st generation, Mac OS X 10.4.11, SD 2.5 (v84) registered.

Regularly SD backups seem to stop mid-way through (as in no SD activity from around 5 minutes in, for another 45 or so...

I also run into this problem on occasion

Could it be this particular combination of software and hardware?

Even when it doesn't appear to stop mid-backup, the backups...
