Error: Result too large (can't figure it out!)

I have tried backing up unsuccessfully several times. I searched through these forums, but haven't found a solution yet. The error always happens on the same file. Disk utility says that all my permissions are correct. Here is the relevant part of the log:

This is a damaged printer proxy that can be fixed with Disk Utility.

To do that, boot from your OSX install DVD and run Disk Utility from the Installer menu (the bold one that says "Installer" next to the Apple menu at the top of the screen) or Utilities (depending on the version). Then, use the First Aid tab to repair the drive, using the buttons on the right (NOT Repair Permissions on the left). Repeat until no problems are found, then try again.

Thank you! That's exactly what the problem is. I tried doing that from Disk Utility while Mac was booted.

Thanks to your wonderful support and obviously amazing product, I just purchased a license. I do have one question: how long will I receive free updates? I'm just wondering if I will still be able to use SuperDuper with Leopard without paying again so soon? Thanks again!

We'll certainly have a free update to a Leopard-compatible version, magoo66... :)
