Issues copying a virtual engine to a NAS drive

Dave

I am using SD to back up the drive on a iMac to a sparse image on a NAS drive. But it stalls always at the same point and that is the virtual engine which runs Windows. I dont have the same problem using SD to backup the drive to another Firewire connected drive - I have tested using restore.

You might be able to advise where the problem might be - is it the virtual engine itself, the iMac drive, the sparse image, or SD having issues copying a virtual engine to a NAS drive? Should I delete the sparse image and start again?

Here is the relevant part of the log:

Looks to me like the VM was running when you backed it up, and it copied with intermediate/temporary attributes. Try removing that file from the image (use Terminal if you know how) and emptying your trash, and please ensure you're NOT running VMWare when backing up...
