Updates; Security and Mac MS Office
 

I just did two updates to my iMac OS X 10.4.8. One was a security update to the OS X and the other was an update to MS Office for Mac. The Office searched and said there were two to update, my HD and my Backup. The Mac update said "searching" then "installing" and I heard my external HD apparently "working" and "clicking" (I was working off of my HD, not backup). Should I be concerned, does the download go to the HD and then when it is backed up to the external, does it go to both at the same time, am I making this to complicated and should I just leave it alone to do what it is supposed to, LOL

I think you're just fine, cowtrail. If you're worried, eject the backup.
