Can I back both an internal and an external drive?

I have a client who wants to back up both her internal drive and an external drive to 2 different partitions on a 3rd drive.

It seems that we ought to be able to do this, but the 'Copy' pull-down includes only her internal drive and the 2 partitions of the 3rd drive.

How do I get external drive #2 to show up in the 'Copy' pull-down?

Can I schedule 2 seperate backups?
I want to schedule a backup of the internal drive to partition A of external drive #3 and a back up of external drive #2 to partition B of external drive #3.

It sounds like external #2 isn't formatted as HFS+, Chris. If you fix that, it should show up.

You can schedule as many backups as you'd like: every time you press "Schedule..." it creates a new one. If you schedule them for the same time, we'll automatically run them back-to-back.

That was it. Thanks

The drive was formatted FAT 16.
We'll move everything off and reformat.

In formatting an external drive, is there any reason to format journalled?

Thanks for the quick feed back.

Yikes: fat16?!?

I always format Journaled. There's a small speed penalty to pay, but it does help when drives get powered down/disconnected improperly.
