Backing up two Macs, one drive

I purchased and have been using SuperDuper! successfully for about a year. I now have another Mac and wanted to know the best way to back up each. Should I partition my external backup drive, one partition for each computer? Do I need to purchase another copy of SuperDuper! or does the license extend to a second computer. If so, what is the easiest way to install SuperDuper! on the second Mac and get it up and running.

Thanks in advance.

No need to both send email and post up here on the forums... doing so just means I have to respond twice, John.

Here's what I emailed you:

Hi, John.

You'd need to partition the backup into two, one for each (or get another drive, which is easier & more convenient).

If both computers are yours, used by you, we don't require you to buy two licenses. But we certainly appreciate it when people do, since it helps pay for development and support.

To install, you'd just download another copy from the web site and enter the information from your receipt into the Register page in SD.

Hope that helps!
