Cloning non-journaled to journaled
I formatted a friend's PowerBook G4 12" (OS X 10.5.2) Mac OS Extended instead of Mac OS Extended Journaled. I have been told that journaling is preferable.
Can I clone the non-journaled drive to a journaled one, reformat the first one as journaled, then clone back again? David |
Just open Disk Utility and click the "Journaling" button: it can do this without needing to move the files.
