any way to compress SD! backup to one or two DVDs?

I would like to hear if anyone has found a way to compress a backup to fit onto a small number of dvds-- for offsite storage purposes. In windows, Norton Ghost does a great job of this (backs up about 30gb to two dvds), but I haven't found a way to do this in Mac Land. Is there a way to compress a SD! backup down to 1-3 dvds? I haven't tried to use dbl density dvds yet, so how would that help out?

Thanks for the ideas.

SuperDuper! isn't really designed to write to DVDs, Tom. But, one thing to consider: why not just store a hard disk offsite?
