Migrating to MacBook Air
I am trying to migrate my SuperDuper backup to a new Macbook Air. I have plugged in my USB HD into the MBA and selected transfer "from another volume on this Mac". The next page asks me to select the items to be transferred. Obviously I want to transfer "Users", "Network and other settings" and "Applications folder". But there is another item named "Files and folders on "My Harddrive"".
What are these files and should they be transferred? Thanks. |
I assume so, yes! (This is the prompt from the first boot, as opposed to running the Migration Assistant manually?)

Yes, this is the prompt from the first boot of the new Macbook Air. The folder is relatively small (only 1GB), so it doesn't contain my main folders etc... Any idea what these files are?

OK - then definitely copy the files. :)
