Is there any way to un-overwrite a disk?

Oh Dear! I just did something really stupid! I have two back up drives, Backup Drive #1 for my superduper backup which I do weekly, and a second one, Backup Drive #2, that I keep other backups on that predate my purchase of superduper, and that aren't on my main hard drive anymore. Today I set Superduper to do its thing and made a mistake and had all the files copied to the wrong hard drive, with the result that everything I was especially keeping on Backup Drive #2 is gone. Is there anything I can do?

You can try to recover the files using a program like "Data Rescue II" from Prosoft Engineering...
