Images on desk top
 

Please excuse my ignorance - brand new user. I've installed super duper and run it a couple of times. Everything seems fine but I have 2 items on my desk top. One has the image of a hard drive SD and is the item from which I dragged the logo to my applications. The other is smaller and called super duper! dmg. Can I safely trash these?

The DMG is a "disk image" that you downloaded, and the "hard drive SD" is the volume it represents (when you open it, that volume appears). You can eject the volume and then throw away the image if you've already installed the program.
