Details on how Scheduled Backup works

Hi. I have a question about the specifics of how Scheduled Backups are scheduled. I've done my best to search the forums here, as well as search the User Guide, and the issue doesn't seem to be addressed.

Scheduled Backups currently allow you to select weeks 1 through 4 of the month, and then select any or all days of the week.

My question is this: when exactly do weeks 1 through 4 of the month start? If we're in a month that spans five calendar weeks, or even six (starting and stopping in the middle of a week), when is each backup scheduled? I need to know so I know when to manually switch my backup drives.

As way of illustration, let me offer two example scenarios with questions. In each example, there are two rotating backup drives: Alpha and Beta. Alpha is scheduled for a daily Smart Update in the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month, and Beta is scheduled for a daily Smart Update in the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month.

Example 1: The 1st of the month is on a Thursday and the last day of the month is on a Saturday. The month spans five calendar weeks. When are the Alpha and Beta backups scheduled?

Example 2: The 1st of the month is on a Thursday and the last day of the month is on a Monday. The month spans six calendar weeks. When are the Alpha and Beta backups scheduled?

Thanks.
Joe

I have actually discussed this in the past. Our "weeks" are -- due to limitations in the system scheduler -- the first 7 days of the month, the next 7 days, etc. The extra days are added to the 4th week.

Thanks, Dave. Sorry for the dupe--I did my best to track down the explanation. :)

No problem at all -- just wanted to indicate that I'm not trying to "hide" the info! :)
