Automatic mounting on internal hard drive
Hi,
I have a Mac Pro with 3 internal drives, one for the os and one for active work and a backup every night using the scheduler using Super Duper. I don't have the backup volume mounted as sometimes I save files to the wrong drive so I unmount the drive every time the mac starts. Since upgrading to the latest version Super Duper no longer mounts the drive before copying, is there a reason for this. Many thanks, Andy Lowe |
Did you delete and recreate your schedule?

Hi Dave,
Yes I did! |
Sorry, just read my post properly, the 1st drive with the files that are being backed up is a external G-Tech G-Safe drive connected via Firewire 800, the destination backup drive is an unmounted internal 500GB drive, will this make a difference. It used to work flawlessly before?

I just checked it here and it seems to be working fine, Chip. Let's move to support email (email me at support) and we'll get more information and try to determine what's going on.
