How do I Validate the Backup
 

First, let me say how impressed I am with this software. I just switched from PC to Mac and I had never heard of it before. The speed is simply amazing.

Here is my question: is there a function to validate/compare?

There is not, no: modern disk controllers already verify reads and writes as they're done.
