Backing up FileVault

Does the latest version of SD still not allow the backing up of a FileVaulted Home folder without logging out. If so, are there any plans to change this ?

This is a limitation of the way FileVault is implemented. I have no plans to change it... however, our support of PGPWDE provides an alternative.

I will take a look at PGPWDE

I regularly back-up my FileVault user directory without logging out.
In the SD! Source pop-up menu the FileVault user directory will show-up as its own distinct volume.
This will only back-up the items in the FileVault Home folder and not the entire disk.

I do use a non-FileVault account for performing a full disk clone.

Right, Timmy - you can do that but it doesn't retain encryption (and it's not a bootable copy).
