View Full Version : "Scheduled" backup Reboot

New to scheduled backups.

Question: Normal Superduper backup reboots from the new backup. Is this true for the scheduled backup?

Question: If so, is there a 'reminder' (flag?) to remind the user to Restart from the original drive?

Why? I scheduled a backup once per month on two computers. I have a "Post It" note as a reminder stuck on the displays, but computer 2 is shut down overnight; computer 1 is on sleep overnight. Both on the same network. Under Mavericks, Disk Utility and Restart don't always indicate which HD is the current one. Suggestions?

Used Superduper for years. Excellent. Thanks.

SuperDuper doesn't normally restart from a backup, unless you specifically set that as an "After copy" option, Dona.
