New drive already partly up to date

I have just repartitioned my clone volume (single volume) then I set SD to do an erase and copy all files.

It's currently copying but I am puzzled why it says that 1. 67GB is already up to date, considering the drive has been erased.

There are some problem with the data display in certain cases; we've got it logged and are trying to figure it out.
