Congratulations to the team responsible for netTunes! Sharing iTunes over a LAN is a very neat concept and netTunes does an impressive job. The interface is neat and intuitive and in general netTunes is a great example of an OS X app.

Is the netTunes client a Carbon app? If so is there any chance of an OS 9 version? This would be very helpful since most of their are so many machines out there still running 9 and a lot of offices/schools etc for which netTunes might be useful still run 9. I'm something of a n amateur carbon programmer and I'd be happy to help if you'd like.

Thanks for the great app and good luck,
Gabe Fishman

Thanks, Gabe!

netTunes is actually a native OS X Cocoa application, and isn't currently available for OS 9. The server would be *very* difficult to do for OS 9, but it might be possible, in the future, to write an OS 9 client...we'll see how many requests there are!

Thanks again for the feedback: it's nice to hear from someone using the program!
