I left my computer on during last night to backup all of my files. When I woke up I saw this log.
What's the problem and more importantly what's the solution?

Thanks

Just for the record - I have like 150gb free space on my external harddrive so space should not be a problem...

This is due to source drive damage that can be fixed with Disk Utility.

Please boot from your OSX Install Disc and run Disk Utility from the Installer or Utilities menu (the bold one that says "Installer" next to the Apple menu at the top of the screen, or the Utilities menu, depending on the version of the disc). Then, use the First Aid tab to repair the drive, using the buttons on the right (NOT Repair Permissions on the left). Repeat until no problems are found, then try again.

I did exactly what you said and it worked perfectly! Thank you so much!

I'm getting the same error yet Disk Utility says that the source drive has no errors (I'm copying from an external Firewire 400 drive to an external USB 2 drive). Any suggestions?

If you're getting the same error, the source volume definitely needs to be repaired. Make sure you're not repairing permissions.

Oops, sorry, turns out the destination partition wasn't large enough (reading earlier in the logs revealed this).
