Sandbox question

Dave, As you know from another thread I am a new Sandbox (but not new Superduper! user).

In the "What's going to happen" statement for the Sandbox script, it says that "user files includes all Home folders, as well as user-specific data stored elsewhere (such as iSync data)" will not be copied to the Sandbox.

Can you clarify what this other data is?

By implication this other "user-specific data" is not in a home folder.

Has iCloud changed anything?

Thanks very much.

It's a specific folder in /Library. You can review the script, if you'd like, to see. Not iCloud related.

Don't quite understand your reply Dave, perhaps I could have a little more help please.

From what you said I expected to find one folder in /Library which was a symlink to the Original, but I can't see one.

There is a folder /Library/Sandbox/profiles on both my Original and Sandbox

Does iSync still exist in Lion?..can't find anything.

How would I review the script? I browsed around in SD but didn't find anything specific.

Thanks

iSync/SyncServices does still exist in Lion. But, again, don't worry: this is nothing to be concerned about, and it's all handled by us.

Dave, I can't see an iSync/SyncServices folder on my machine anywhere even searching in Spotlight, including system files and invisible files.

However I accept your advice that I don't need to worry about it, so I won't pursue any further.

Thanks
