Restoring all but system files

My MacBook Pro is freaking out after upgrading to 10.6.3 and I'm considering the move backwards to 10.6.2 where I had no problems.

I have daily backups - and want to know - once I get back to 10.6.2 how do I restore all but the system files.

Thanks

That's kind of hard to do, actually (this is why the Sandbox was invented). Instead, you can use your original Snow Leopard discs to reinstall 10.6, and then upgrade to 10.6.2.

Ok - I'm out of the loop obviously - what is sandbox?

On the other issue. I know that I would have to reinstall 10.6.0 and then upgrade to 10.6.2.

What I want to know is.... Do I need to do anything as far as restoring from my SuperDuper backups when the reinstall is complete - or should all my docs be intact?

Everything should be intact. The Sandbox is described in the User's Guide...
