Resize / repartition HFS+ Volume is now also possible with Disk Utility / Bootcamp

The SuperDuper reference manual (version 2.1.4) says:

There are third-party products, such as Coriolis Software’s iPartition,
that can actually partition the drive with the data in place. OS X,
however, cannot do it itself.
As of today (see post date) this is not quite true anymore, as it is possibly to resize / repartition HFS+ Volumes under MacOSX with diskutil/bootcamp under some certain circumstances.
