Booting from external: GUID partitioned, HFS+ (with FAT32 neighbor)

hi all,

I can't seem to boot from the backup partition i just made on my external.

I'm on a Macbook Pro, and I partitioned using GUID. I have one 75GB HFS+ Partition (which I use SuperDuper to back up into), and allocate the remaining 220GB to a FAT32 so I can share files with my Windows machine.

I boot up with the drive plugged in, and nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?
