Strange log times

I started superduper last night on a macbook running Tiger and did a full backup. Then I did some experiments with the energy features and waking it up for smart backups so I could feel confident it would work during the middle of the night. As I could see the screen, I could see that SD started up and did several smart back ups to completion.

However, when I look in the log, I don't see them. The last log time was at least 45 minutes prior to the start of my checks (so I don't really know if it ran at night). The time displayed in the finder bar at the top of the screen (the computer time) is accurate.

Any ideas?

If SD closes itself down, is there an option to leave a message on the screen that it worked successfully or do I have to leave SD running all of the time?

Thanks!

Did you look at the log in the Scheduled Copies window (Window > Scheduled Copies)?

You can install Growl (http://www.growl.info) -- which we fully support -- and configure it to notify you on successful and failed backups in various useful ways.

Didn't realize there were multiple logs... will take a look.

Growl looks perfect - thanks!
