Quick question re partition size

When I eventually try to restore my drive to a new laptop from the back up, does it need to be on a partition of the exact same size?

My new laptop will have a larger drive than the old, so I wanted to make the bootable partition bigger. But does it have to "match" the SuperDuper back up one for the restore to work properly?

I can live with that if so, I just need to know so I can partition it appropriately.
