ACL's
OK, this is now becoming a pretty big issue, and I need to know several of things (I'll get to the SD question shortly).
1. My son's machine is having trouble saving things, and AddressBook won't let him edit his cards. Is this an ACL problem? Permission Repair does not fix this. 2. When using SD, should I check, or uncheck the ACL box? What does NOT copying ACL's harm? Why SHOULD I do it? 3. Would copying a clone without ACL's checked fix my son's problem on the backup? Can he then clone that back to his internal, and have his computer fixed? 4. Is there a fix that anyone knows for this ACL problem, and can you describe clearly what he should do? Thanks. |
