New User question

Hi I just bought SuperDuper! and have a question.

can i set super duper to do a complete mirror backup of all of my partitions (I have 5!) at once?

that way if my HDD fails I will have everything backed up exactly as it was on my original drive.

Cheers

Dinger

You can schedule backups of all of them at the same time, but we can't copy more than one at once. We'll automatically adjust them so they happen back to back.

thanks for the reply, what do i need to set the options to do this? as far as i can see i can only copy one partition to the external drive at a time? (the option i think i need erases the drive before it makes the backup - deleating all of my other partitions)

thanks

There's no option: you just create multiple schedules. And "erase" doesn't erase a drive, it erases a volume (one partition). But you're going to want to use "Smart Update", most likely...
