Apps crash after copying data back
I'll answer in reverse order...I did try Archive and Install but found that my issue did not resolve itself, so that's why I double-checked my back up and went with a clean install. Then proceeded as previously mentioned.
This does not happen with a newly created library. As for the console and crash log, I've pasted below. Unfortunately it's all Greek to me... My apologies for a very long post...I'll have to post the Crash log separately. ****** Console: 3/20/09 8:50:46 PM ReportCrash[497] Formulating crash report for process iPhoto[488] 3/20/09 8:50:48 PM ReportCrash[497] Saved crashreport to /Users/jim/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/iPhoto_2009-03-20-205044_jim-xxxxxxx-macbook-pro-17.crash using uid: 501 gid: 20, euid: 501 egid: 20 3/20/09 8:50:48 PM ReportCrash[497] Saved crashreport to /Users/jim/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/iPhoto_2009-03-20-205044_jim-xxxxxxx-macbook-pro-17.crash using uid: 501 gid: 20, euid: 501 egid: 20 3/20/09 8:50:47 PM com.apple.launchd[129] ([0x0-0x2d02d].com.apple.iPhoto[488]) Exited abnormally: Bus error 3/20/09 8:50:54 PM ntpd[14] time reset +0.330698 s |
