Colon in filenames

When a filename has a colon, Finder replaces it with a slash. In SD's copy window, slashes are replaced with colons. Why does SD do the opposite of the OS?
I had to double-check my drives, thinking I had inadvertently used colons.

Those are the exact values the system gives us. I would strongly suggest using dashes rather than colons or slashes.
