Losing display resolution
Have there been any reports of losing the display resolution after running Super Duper? I use super duper on my Mac Pro to back up 2 300GB drives every night. Every couple of days I find that the display resolution on the Mac Pro is messed up. The computer thinks that it's resolution is 1/2 of what it was set at. The doc and the icons all move up or to the left by 1/2 the screen wide. I then have to change the resolution and then set it back to correct resolution. Since this problem never happens during the day when Super Duper isn't running this appears to be the culprit. I had a another problem on my old Mac Pro laptop (Intel 1st generation) with the display after running super duper where the display brightness would get adjusted down to nothing and the screen would appear black.

No, but the "black display" issue happens if you shut down the Mac with the screen saver black (seems to be a Leopard bug). I'd guess a changed resolution is similar -- try having SD sleep the Mac instead.
