How can I eliminate the password and confirmation dialogs?

I back up my Macbook Pro to an external FireWire 800 drive using Smart Update. This is a full backup including ACLs so that it is bootable. When I click start, I am first prompted for my machine password, then prompted to confirm. How do I eliminate these prompts?

Ah, figured that out, open preferences and unselect "prompt before overwriting"
