Restore from SuperDuper

Okay, at the risk of revealing my level of illiteracy, how do I restore my MacBook Pro (RMBP, 15-inch, Early 2013) using the backup I made with SuperDuper on an external hard drive connected via Thunderbolt? Using OS X 10.9.

The computer won't boot normally. I can press Cmd-R and get to the restore with Time Machine screen. But I want to restore with the SD backup.

Thanks
