Work while Backing up disk?

Hello,

What's the story, is it ok to work on a documents contained on a disk that is currently being backed up by SuperDuper.

The disk is 500g and the files that I'm using are multi-media.

Any problem with this?

It's generally not a good idea to do active work on files that you're backing up. You can work lightly... but you want to quit any applications that have large data files, etc.
