Drobo-questions

I'm considering a Drobo, now with its FW and all. But am I right:

- I can partition it like any FW drive, using one partition to TimeMachine, one to SuperDuper, and one to all the rest?
- I can boot my Mac from the SuperDuper partition?

I guess there are SuperDupers here also using Drobo. Are you happy with it?

Hello Hovis

I have a new Drobo and an Intel based Imac and I am happy with both.
- you can partition the Drobo and use one partition as a bootable disc. If it is an Intel-based Mac you have to partition it as GUID. It works I do it
- I do not use TM but check out the homepage of Drobo - there are articles. Based on what I have read it works very well.
