No servers showed up in the file browser. However I managed to solve the problem by installing XP’s HTTP server IIS. I put the source image in the webb root catalog. Booted from the DVD and in Disc Utility’s restore tab source field put the address
http://XP IP-adress/backup.sparseimage and start the restore.
