Smart Update Seems to be Ignored
I back up weekly using Smart Update.
After the last update the display indicated that only 600 MB out of 18GB did not need copying. As a consequence the backup took over 2 hours insted of about 20 minutes.
The first time I backed up it took 20 minutes.
The second time it took a lot longer since only 2 GB did not need copying.
I am backing up to an external Firewire drive and using OS 10.4.7
