DMG to....DMG?
 

I moved my iPhoto library to a usb drive attached to my airport extreme to that my boyfriend and I can share the library.

I currently use SD to to backup my iMac to sparse image on another USB drive attached directly to my iMac. (i didn't want the drive reformatted when I backed up)

I would like to use SuperDuper! to back up the iPhoto library. The only way I think I can do this is to place the library in a DMG (which I can still share) and have SD backup that DMG to....another DMG?

Any thoughts? Better workarounds?

Well... you could bring the USB drive to your Mac when you want to copy it...
