Internal error with SDDiskTool?
My backup fails. The script is the standard "Backup - all files". The message in the window is
"Failed to erase Mac OS X Install DVD" Note: the volume named "Mac OS X Install DVD" is a read-write 4.7 GB disk image created and mounted with Disk Utility. The log file is: | 04:26:37 PM | Info | SuperDuper!, 2.1.3 (80), path: /Other Apps/SuperDuper!.app, Mac OS 10.4.8 build 8N1051 (i386) | 04:26:37 PM | Info | Started on Fri, Jan 26, 2007 at 4:26 PM | 04:26:37 PM | Info | Source Drive: Leopard dup, mount: /Volumes/Leopard dup, device: Apple sparse disk image, interconnect: Virtual Interface, file system: "HFS+", OS: 10.5 (9A343), capacity: 5.74 GB, used: 4.25 GB, directories: 6606, files: 12179, ejectable: YES, ACLs: Disabled | 04:26:37 PM | Info | Target Drive: Mac OS X Install DVD, mount: /Volumes/Mac OS X Install DVD 1, device: Apple read/write, interconnect: Virtual Interface, file system: "HFS+", OS: N/A, capacity: 4.38 GB, used: 0.01 GB, directories: 3, files: 2, ejectable: YES, ACLs: Disabled | 04:26:37 PM | Info | Copy Mode : Erase, then copy files | 04:26:37 PM | Info | Copy Script : Backup - all files.dset | 04:26:37 PM | Info | Transcript : BuildTranscript.plist | 04:26:38 PM | Info | PHASE: 1. Trying again, it worked
I unmounted the destination volume, remounted it, and this time, it worked...
Some gremlin I guess. Regards, Jean-Denis |
