Hello
my backup is failing. Tried removing but still can't get to work. Thanks in advance. |
Well, the problem here seems to be a broken Wacom tablet driver -- specifically, its Portuguese localization is improperly constructed.
If you don't need the Portuguese version, you can Control-Click the preference pane in /Library/PreferencePanes, navigate to the Contents/Resources folder inside, and delete the Portuguese.lproj folder. Then, empty your trash, and that should fix it. |

Still not working. Tried trashing whole folder and individual file. Still getting this error:
| 08:34:30 PM | Info | WARNING: Target: /Volumes/ibook/Library/PreferencePanes/Wacom Tablet.prefPane/Contents/Resources/Portuguese.lproj/help.pdf, lstat(): -1 | 08:34:30 PM | Info | Attempting to copy file using copyfile(). | 08:34:30 PM | Info | Attempting to copy file using ditto. Any suggestions ? John McLean |
Got it !
Although error message indicated ibook drive was problem was actually on the other drive. An alias for a pdf file on the drive I was backing upin the PortugueseIproj folder was causing the problems. John McLean |
Right -- the file listed in the *target*, the source is there too... glad you're set.

Thanks for the quick and helpful support and such a great product.
