backing up to a NAS?

I am a long time superduper user with 3 macs. I am researching NAS drives so I can back up all three macs to a single drive. Will superduper back up to a network attached drive? any recommendations for brand/model of NAS?

Yes: as discussed in the User's Guide ("Backing up over a network"), we can back up to NAS drives (in an image container). I rather like the ReadyNAS Pro line of NAS devices, but the Drobo FS is quite nice as well (not to mention the Drobo Pro units).

If you have a NAS capable of iSCSI connections, we can actually back up directly to the NAS drive, formatted in HFS+. The ReadyNAS Pro and the Drobo Pros can do this, if it's something you're interested in.

Note, though: in general, I recommend network backups as a *secondary* backup, since they're not directly bootable, are inherently less reliable due to the more indirect nature of the connections and containers, and can't be easily tested.
