Backing up mounted network volumes

How do I back up mounted network volumes with SD? I notice that when they are mounted (from a linux box) the volume names are not shown in SD's drop down lists.

Thanks for your help. (I searched and couldn't find an answer)

You can't: we cannot back up directly to or from a network volume.
